This is the Lawson family, who spent some quality time with Franklin in March 2006 while we waited for about a week to get a table at Outback Steakhouse. Seriously, I was so hungry that after a while I started to hallucinate that baby Piper was a hamburger, like on a Bugs Bunny cartoon. Since this picture was taken Missy and Isi have had another daughter, who Franklin hasn't met yet. That is high on his agenda, though. Franklin can't wait for the Lawson's yearly spring party, because they set stuff on fire and Missy makes this fruit salsa stuff that's so good that I'd murder a bus full of blind children and elderly nuns for just a bite of it.
Today I got an e-mail from Isi with a
web site that had some cool screen shots from a PC game called Half-Life 2: Episode 2 where you can carry a lawn gnome around with you. How cool is that?
